From Fabric to Finished Garment: A Manufacturing Overview
22 May 2026 · Radha Garments
Manufacturing begins with fabric and material selection matched to the style being produced — everyday fabrics like cotton and rayon for daily-wear categories, and fabrics like georgette for festive and occasion pieces.
From there, panels are cut to pattern, stitched together according to the garment's construction, and finished with trims and closures before quality checking.
Quality checking exists specifically to catch construction or finishing issues before a garment is packed, which matters more at bulk volume than on a single piece.
The final stage is packing and dispatch preparation, timed against the buyer's confirmed order and destination.
